MAJOR ADVANTAGES
AFFORDABLE: BECAUSE MONEY MATTERS
NUBO pallets cut your costs.
Conventional wooden or plastic pallets are too expensive in the long run. Replacement, constant repairs, administration, handling, additional transport, weight … All of this generates unnecessary costs.
NUBO’s Advantages:
- Extremely low weight makes them cheaper to transport
- More robust design means far fewer repairs
- Goods tracking function enables major savings
- Each NUBO is 29% cheaper per use*
*Purchase price/number of uses, compared to a wooden pallet
Save time and money: One for all
LIGHTER: NUBO PALLETS WEIGH ONLY 12 KG
NUBO pallets weigh around half as much as wooden Euro pallets and a third less than plastic pallets making them easier to transport.
CERTIFIED IN GERMANY: LOADABLE UP TO INCREDIBLE 16 TONS
NUBO’s core from steel never breaks. In ISO 8611 tests, NUBO can withstand an incredible 16 tons up to the permissible deflection of 21mm and manages more than 4 tons in high-bay storage.
In the ISO long-term test and with safety factor 2, NUBO easily passes the tests with more than 8 tons as well as with 2.5 tons in high-bay storage.
CIRCULAR AND MINIMAL CARBON FOOTPRINT
Tests have shown that NUBO pallets generate just half the carbon emissions of wooden Euro pallets in use. The carbon-neutral biopolymer material can be recycled and some designs are completely biodegradable. The lightweight NUBO pallets also use up less fuel for transportation — another plus for the environment. What’s more, NUBO is impressively durable, meaning you can reuse it again and again.

SMART SENSOR INTEGRATION:
The smart modular NUBO pallets can be seamlessly adapted to your business.
Location, time, temperature, humidity, pressure, acceleration, impact — all this can be comprehensively recorded in real time via sensors.
KNOWS LOAD
- The pallet has a load recognition system that can be standardized, labelled and read via Bluetooth with standard devices worldwide.
- In a second step, displays are planned for use with shop-in-the-shop systems that report sales or withdrawals online.
- Accordingly certified customs systems, similar to a seal, are also presentable.
- In addition, the software of the pallet can be updated online.
SHOWS FREIGHT ROUTE
- In combination with commercially available GPS or low-frequency GPS systems, the pallet shows its positions online if desired, or as a follow-up when reading out the data at the destination.
- Recording of locations makes the reduction of unproductive downtime or storage time in intra- and interlogistics possible.
- Trackable throughout the logistics chain with various service providers so that inventories can be optimized.
- The complete tracing of the origin of products is an essential step to ensure or verify originality (e.g. cultivation areas of organic products or production sites of branded products).
REDUCES CO2 BY HALF
- NUBO is fully recyclable.
- NUBO enables to cut the CO2 impact in half during use.
- NUBO weighs about half of conventional wooden pallets and only two-thirds of comparable existing fossil plastic pallets.
In combination with the high durability – at least 5 times higher than a wooden pallet – NUBO enables comprehensive resource conservation. - If all 220 million euro pallets in Europe were replaced by NUBO, this could result in a saving of 5.4 million tons of CO2 over the lifetime of NUBO.
REGISTER VIBRATION AND MOISTURE
- High-quality consumer goods are usually extremely sensitive to impact and moisture.
- Suspected damage that cannot be immediately detected by mere visual inspection can be actively reported by the registered vibrations or moisture messages of the pallet.
FAIR INVOICING AND ONLINE SERVICE MESSAGES
- Fair invoicing based on causation makes pallet exchange child’s play. The online recording of the pallet position enables fully automatic administration of the exchange pallets, for the first time.
- The pallet registers the use and loads in its life cycle.
- This allows the pallet to independently indicate possible wear or breakage so that it can be sent for recycling.
- If desired, the service information can be called up via app.
MEASURES TEMPERATURE
- Maintaining temperature corridors, in addition to turnaround time, is quite essential to meeting quality promises for most transported goods.
- Seamless compliance with temperature specifications can be monitored online or simply read out during goods acceptance.
* 100 % compatible with all data networks and blockchain-ready.
